Bigfishcoolers.com reserves the right to substitute goods purchased with comparable items of equal quality and functionality and price in the event items purchased become unavailable. We will contact you in the event this becomes necessary, at which point you have the option of canceling you order for full refund.  

If your item ships and you decide to return the item, bigfishcoolers.com retains the option of charging a 20% restocking fee, because most returned items are not resalable as new. (cartons damaged, original packing material missing, product slightly scratched from shipping), as such the units are sold at a discount.  Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges associated with returning a cooler.  It is highly advisable that the proper value be declared when shipping any cooler.

Warranty Information (Oasis International) 

Each OASIS® product carries a specific Limited Warranty which is backed by the manufacturer, Oasis International, 265 N. Hamilton Road, Columbus, Ohio, USA, 43213. Most models Feature three or five year parts and labor, some models for One year parts and labor, on the sealed refrigeration system. Other components may be covered for a greater or lesser period. Please refer to the warranty certificate that is enclosed with every product, regarding the specific warranty that corresponds to the unit you purchased.

In the case of POU coolers, the water cooler warranty applies (based upon specific model), however, neither OASIS nor BigFishcoolers.com will be held liable for faulty installation/plumbing or defects due to workmanship and/or materials used by your installer, including but not limited to damage caused by leaks. The maximum inlet water pressure must not exceed 100 PSI. Any damages incurred as the result of improper installation, leaks resulting from improper installation, excessive pressure, including “water hammers”, voids the warranty. Use of a quality pressure regulator is strongly recommended.

OASIS maintains a nationwide and worldwide network of independent Authorized repair facilities. Please call 1-800-950-3226 for an authorized service facility in your area.

Since these warranties are provided solely by the manufacturer, OASIS Corporation, BigFish Coolers.com does not assume any responsibility or liability with regard to warranty repairs. Neither OASIS Corporation nor BigFish Coolers.com will be held liable for damages to persons or property due to normal use of these products, nor the misuse thereof. Caution: In the case of Hot ‘n Cold™ models, HOT WATER CAN SCALD AND CAUSE SERIOUS SKIN BURNS AND RELATED INJURIES.

Merchandise cannot be returned without prior authorization. Shipments not having prior authorization and/or shipments not bearing an RGA number (Returned Goods Authorization) will be refused. RGA numbers must appear on all boxes. This helps us track and account for your shipment, allows us to promptly credit the appropriate account and helps us lower costs by eliminating abusive and frivolous returns.

1) Visible Damage

a) If possible, immediately open and inspect the goods for damage. Many times the box or carton has taken the abuse but the goods are intact. If it is obvious that the goods are damaged beyond what’s reasonable, please refuse the shipment, note it with the carrier and call us to start the claims procedure.

b) Note any damage on Bill of lading. Be descriptive as possible.

c) Notify the carrier’s office to inspect the damaged goods.  Save packing material.

d) File a claim with the freight company as soon as possible or contact us and we can begin the claims process.


2) Concealed Damage

a) If damage is noticed when goods are unpacked, notify us so we can file a claim and arrange to have the goods inspected. If possible take digital photos of the damage to expedite claim. Some carriers have a statute on concealed damages, some 24 hours, others 15 days. Always ask the driver or freight carrier’s office for their concealed damage policy.

b) Save any packing materials until claim is settled. DO NOT RETURN DAMAGED ITEMS.

3) Shortages

a) All Shortages must be reported within 15 days of invoice date.
b) Check the number of packages and be sure you have received all of the cartons in the shipment.
c) If the quantities shipped do not tally with the packing slip or invoice, note the shortage with the carrier and if the missing cartons do not show up within 5 days, call us and we will ship the missing goods on a new order. Note the Bill of Lading number or Tracking number wherever possible.

d) For our mutual protection, it is assumed the shipment was packed as stated on the packing slip, therefore the carrier is responsible for loss or damages. Again, we can reship the goods however you will be billed for the new shipment and responsible for payment on the shorted shipment.  We can file a loss claim and your payment for lost items will be credited once the carrier pays the claim.

e) By accepting and/or signing for the goods, you are acknowledging to the shipper that the goods were delivered to you in good condition and properly packed. It’s your responsibility to note otherwise.

4) Shipping Errors

a) We’re not perfect either, so if there is an error, it must be reported to us within 15 days of invoice.

All returned goods must be new, unused and in otherwise resalable condition. Multiple part assemblies must be returned complete otherwise your credit will not be allowed. Any shipment returned for credit or refund, when the error is not the fault of BigFishCoolers.com will be subject to a 20% restocking, repackaging fee. All goods must be returned within 45 days of invoice, freight prepaid. BigFishCoolers.com will not accept freight collect shipments. If in doubt, call us.
